Frost and Fire offer quality accommodation just 45km east of Iceland's capital, Reykjavik, at comfortable guesthouses in the village of Hvergerdi and nearby Olfus, where you can be sure of relaxing in style. The 6 double rooms, all have a private bath, television and connection for computers. All the rooms are well furnished, and the walls are decorated with modern Icelandic art. Guests at Frost and Fire have access to a 12 metre private swimming pool, a hot tub on the riverbank and a sauna with an outdoor shower. Frost and Fire has always been proud of serving delicious and attractive breakfasts, predominantly made from quality organic farm produce. Icelandic local suppliers provide their organic coffee, tea, cereals, jam, marmalade, honey and bread. Their famous coice smoked trout, a traditional cottage delicacy, is from an exclusive supplier in north Iceland, and the eggs are harvested from free-range Icelandic hens and delicious vegetables come from geothermally heated, environment-friendly greenhouses. Evening meals , lunches and packaged lunch box are available on request.
