Reykjavik & South Coast (Fly/Drive) Duration: 7 Nights
Holiday include return flights from London Heathrow or Glasgow and B&B Accommodation

Day 1. Fly to Iceland from the UK arriving at Keflavik. Collect rental car from airport desk and drive to hotel in Reykjavik or transfer by fly bus ( distance 50 km ). Stay 2 nights in Reykjavik central hotel.
Day 2. Time for a city site seeing tour and leisure time , optinal Whale Watching.
Day 3. Drive the Golden Circle route and take in the sites including Pingvellir National Park ( site of old Icelandic Parliament ) , the geothermal pools, the famous Geyser and the majestic Gulfoss waterfalls. Then onwards to Hveragerdi and visit the hydroponics ( Greenhouses ) stay in a hotel at Hveragerdi.
Day 4. Drive east along the south coast, towards Vik viewing the spectacular Skogafoss waterfall and onwards to stay in a hotel at Vik. Stay 3 nights in Vik.
Day 5. Time to discover the Myrdalsjokull glacier and the black beeches around Vik. Visit Dyrholaey headland where thousands of puffins nest every summer. Optional skidoo glacier tour or quad bikes in the valley.
Day 6. Head further along the coast road for a day trip visiting the picturesque village of Kirkjubaejarklaustur, the Skaftafell National Park and then Vatnajokull glacier. Optional Jeep tour on the glacier, boat tour on the glacial lagoon or glacier hike in Skaftafell area.
Day 7. Return to Reykjavik and stay in town for last night or close to airport and Blue Lagoon dependant on the time of return flight.
Day 8. Fly home to UK.
