Northern Lights Super Jeep

This tour offers a great mixture of 4x4 SuperJeep fun and Norhern lights tour. Depending on conditions and
visibility we take you around the mountains near Reykjavik. We drive to the top of Ulfarsfell mountain (the mountain
of the wolfs) where you can enjoy the views across the Reykjavik city. Moving on you will have the opportunity of
visiting Nesjavellir where you will see one of the largest Geothermal power plant in Iceland. After we have visited
the UNESCO site Thingvellir we will challange the 4x4 SuperJeeps again and go offroad to Trollafoss (the waterfall
of the trolls) which is a spectacular waterfall near to Mosfellsbaer.
An aurora is a natural light display in the sky, particularly in the high latitude (Arctic and Antarctic) regions, caused
by the collision of energetic charged particles with atoms in the high altitude atmosphere (thermosphere). The
charged particles originate in the magnetosphere and solar wind and are directed by the Earth's magnetic field into
the atmosphere.
