By far and away the best place to stay in the valley is the good Öngulsstaðir III  farmstay, whose friendly owners will make you feel at home.

Petursborg is a very beautiful place with a beautiful view over Eyjafjordur. There is ample birdlife in the neighbourhood and the possibility to pick berries in the fall. The guesthouse is nicely situated for sightseeing tours around the North of Iceland and for skiers in the winter. The hotel offers rooms for 1 to 4 persons.
