Thanks to the rapid decline of cases of COVID-19 in Iceland, the country is welcoming international visitors again and opens its borders latest June 15th, as per announcement of the Icelandic government!

As well as its stunning remote interior, breathtaking scenery and low density population, here are some of the many reasons Iceland should be your holiday destination when you escape lockdown!
 
1. No new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed today, the fifth day in a row.
2. Extensive testing of the general population & good healthcare system.
