Day 1 - Arrive in Reykjavik

Arrive in Iceland and collect your hire car at the airport. Drive to Reykjavik and check in to Hotel Fron Studios & Apartments. Spend the rest of the day exploring Iceland's capital city, with its colourful streets, waterfront views and excellent restaurants.

Day 2 - Whale Watching from Reykjavik

After breakfast, head to Reykjavik's Old Harbour for your whale watching excursion. Keep an eye out for minke whales, humpback whales, white-beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises as you sail into Faxafloi Bay. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure in Reykjavik.

Day 3 - Golden Circle Region

Leave Reykjavik behind and begin your journey along Iceland's famous Golden Circle route. Visit highlights such as Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Waterfall and the Geysir geothermal area before arriving at Litli Geysir Hotel.

Day 4 - Secret Lagoon

Enjoy a relaxing visit to the Secret Lagoon, Iceland's oldest natural swimming pool. Surrounded by steaming geothermal landscapes, it's the perfect place to unwind after exploring the Golden Circle region.

Day 5 - South Coast to Hella

Continue along Iceland's spectacular South Coast, passing dramatic waterfalls, black sand beaches and volcanic landscapes. Arrive at the renowned Hotel Ranga and settle into your Deluxe Room.

Day 6 - Explore the South Coast

Today is free for independent exploration. You may wish to visit Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Dyrholaey or the charming village of Vik.

Day 7 - Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon

Travel further east through some of Iceland's most dramatic scenery to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. Here you'll enjoy an Amphibian Boat Tour, sailing amongst floating icebergs as they drift from the glacier towards the sea. Continue to Hotel Klaustur for the evening.

Day 8 - South Iceland Countryside

Begin your journey back towards the Reykjavik area, taking in any sights you may have missed along the way. Arrive at Hotel Eldhestar, located in the peaceful Icelandic countryside.

Day 9 - Departure

After breakfast, drive to Keflavik International Airport, return your hire car and board your flight back to the UK.
