What you'll do

Day 1: Arrive in Iceland

Fly in from your chosen UK airport and land safely at Keflavik.

Get collected from the airport and transferred to your Reykjavik hotel

Take the afternoon to explore the capital and enjoy some tasty Icelandic food for dinner

Stay overnight at your Reykjavik hotel

Day 2: Explore Reykjavik & Whale Watching or Northern Lights

Enjoy the morning exploring Reykjavik or book a Reykjavik sightseeing tour. You will learn about the rich history and culture that shaped Iceland by visiting the prime landmarks and attractions in and around the capital city. Sit back and enjoy educational commentary, interesting facts, and stories that relate to the most important locations in and around Reykjavik.

In the afternoon/evening, you will be escorted on a Northern Lights or Whale Watching tour depending on which season you choose to visit.  If you visit during winter, you can witness the most spectacular show on earth in the most beautiful place on earth. Surrounded by incredible nature, watch in awe as the green, red and purple aurora borealis dance across the night sky.

For those visiting in summer, enjoy an Icelandic Whale Watching tour from the old harbour of Reykjavik. Abundant summer daylight combined with a unique mixture of cold and warm sea currents that blend in Iceland's shallow fjords make the Icelandic territorial waters home to a rich variety of krill and fish, and consequently a bountiful feeding ground that attracts twenty-three species of whales.

Day 3: The Golden Circle

Enjoy a whole day of exploring the Golden Circle with our Classic Golden Circle tour.  It’s a classic for good reason. Combining history, culture and extraordinary nature, you will see Thingvellir National Park and walk among the geological wonders of the fissure zone and in the footsteps of the early Viking settlers where the Althingi parliament was founded. You will then be taken to Gullfoss and feel the mist of glacial water as it cascades down one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls.  Finally, you will witness the Geysir and hear the bubbling of the mud pots, smell the sulfur in the air and watch in awe as the geyser Strokkur blasts boiling water into the air.

Day 4: Horse Riding

Today you will go on an incredible Icelandic Horse Riding experience. Enjoy the mountain view surrounding Reykjavík while riding the gentle Icelandic horse. Meet these incredible animals and ride through the country’s volcanic landscape on this amazing horse riding tour. It is the perfect tour for all animal lovers who want to add a little twist to their sightseeing.

Day 5: The Blue Lagoon

Enjoy a relaxing visit to the Blue Lagoon which includes transfers from your hotel and the entrance fee. There is also the option to subsitute the Blue Lagoon tour with an alternative such as Whale Watching, the Sky Lagoon or the South Coast Waterfalls and Black Sand Beach Sightseeing Tour

Day 6: Fly Home

Get collected from your hotel and taken back to Keflavik airport
