Enjoy a Reykjavik sightseeing tour in the morning. You will learn about the rich history and culture that shaped Iceland by visiting the prime landmarks and attractions in and around the capital city. Sit back and enjoy educational commentary, interesting facts, and stories that relate to the most important locations in and around Reykjavik.

In the afternoon/evening, you will be escorted on a Northern Lights or Whale Watching tour depending on which season you choose to visit.  If you visit during winter, you can witness the most spectacular show on earth in the most beautiful place on earth. Surrounded by incredible nature, watch in awe as the green, red and purple aurora borealis dance across the night sky.

For those visiting in summer, enjoy an Icelandic Whale Watching tour from the old harbor of Reykjavik. Abundant summer daylight combined with a unique mixture of cold and warm sea currents that blend in Iceland's shallow fjords make the Icelandic territorial waters home to a rich variety of krill and fish, and consequently a bountiful feeding ground that attracts twenty-three species of whales.

You will then be taken to Gullfoss and feel the mist of glacial water as it cascades down one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls.  Finally, you will witness the Geysirand hear the bubbling of the mud pots, smell the sulfur in the air and watch in awe as the geyser Strokkur blasts boiling water into the air.

Day 5:

Another full day adventure today out in the beautiful Icelandic countryside. A coach will collect you from your hotel to take you on a South Shore adventure.

The South Shore Adventure tour is ideal for nature lovers of all kinds. We take you along the south coast of Iceland, one of the country’s most scenic regions, as far as Vík, a charming village surrounded by high beautiful bird cliffs.

Among the stops on this tour are at the gorgeous Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls. Seljalandsfoss is part of the Seljandsá river, which has its origins in Eyjafjallajökull glacier. What makes Seljalandsfoss so famous and interesting is that you can walk behind it. Skógafoss, another famous Icelandic waterfall, is the starting point of the Fimmvörðuháls walk over to Þórsmörk. We will also stop at Reynisfjara black sand beach, with the Reynisdrangar rock formations and columnar basalt and Sólheimajökull and walk up to a small lake which has formed in front of the retreating glacier.
