You will then be taken to Gullfoss and feel the mist of glacial water as it cascades down one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls.  Finally, you will witness the Geysir and hear the bubbling of the mud pots, smell the sulfur in the air and watch in awe as the geyser Strokkur blasts boiling water into the air.  Stop for lunch at Gullfoss or Geysir.

You will be then taken to the Langjokull Glacier for an adrenalin rush Snowmobile ride on Iceland's second-largest glacier, Langjökull. Shooting across this ice desert on a powerful snowmobile is an experience like nothing else and a trip for the senses.

After you have explored the Golden Circle, you will then be taken to the wonderful Secret Lagoon tour, a man-made hot spring of natural resources located at Hverahólmi. It is the perfect place to sit and rejuvenate in the geothermal waters.

Day 3:

In the morning  you will take a boat from Reykjavik harbour and jump aboard a Whale Watching tour to see the incredible wealth of marine wildlife just off Reykjavík’s shores. Abundant summer daylight combined with a unique mixture of cold and warm sea currents that blend in Iceland's shallow fjords make the Icelandic territorial waters home to a rich variety of krill and fish, and consequently a bountiful feeding ground that attracts twenty-three species of whales.

Then be whisked away to see an erupting Volcano in your life before relaxing in the sumptuous Blue Lagoon geothermal waters! What could be a better day?

This first eruption in the Reykjanes Peninsula in about 800 years provides a unique opportunity to study the geologic mysteries of the region and is open for all to enjoy! After being shaken by months of increasingly disruptive earthquakes, including thousands in the past weeks, Iceland’s Reykjanes Peninsula is finally experiencing the volcanic eruption that many geologists suspected was on its way.

After an exciting hike to the Volcano we end the day at the Blue Lagoon. Immerse yourself in the milky-blue geothermal seawaters. Included in the comfort package is entrance to the Blue Lagoon, silica mud mask, use of a towel and 1st drink of your choice.

Reykjavik Excursions offers a guided tour to the volcanic eruption in Geldingadalur, known as Fagradalsfjall Volcano. The driver and guide will take the group to the start of the hiking route towards the volcano in Geldingadalur, where the group will hike towards the volcano. The hike will take approximately 1.5 hours each way, please note that this is an estimated time. The sites around the volcano are always changing due to freely flowing lava and the hiking time can change.

Don´t miss out on this once in a lifetime experience and witness the raw power of lava pouring out of the surface of the earth.

In the evening you will be taken on an evening boat cruise to Videy Island for an Icelandic evening of dinner and entertainment. You will be collected again at the end of the evening and transferred back to your hotel.

Stay overnight at Hotel Viking.

Day 4:

South Coast Waterfalls and Black Sand Beach Your South Iceland journey will take you through the country’s lush farmlands, flanked by rugged mountains, glaciers (including the infamous Eyjafjallajökull) and volcanoes of the interior on one side and vast Atlantic ocean views on the other.

On this tour of South Iceland, you will also experience the powerful beauty of Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where the Seljalandsá river, which originates under Eyjafjallajökull glacier, falls, as well as Skógafoss, one of the largest waterfalls in Iceland.

Just outside the town of Vík í Mýrdal (or just Vík to the locals), you will visit the soaring basalt rock formation known as Reynisdrangar and the black sand beach of Reynisfjara.  We stop for lunch Smidjanbrugghus Great Burgers and Beer
