This convenient service ensures a smooth and hassle-free transition from the airport to your accommodation in Akureyri, so you can start your Icelandic adventure with ease.

Arrival Day:  9:30 PM

Escape the light pollution of the city and go with us outside Akureyri to see the amazing Northern lights. The Northern Lights viewings for this winter are looking very promising and there are few better places to see them than in the north of Iceland.

Where we head each night depends on where we think it's most likely to find clear sky and the best conditions to enjoy the lights.

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon. Sightings cannot be guaranteed even if the tour is operated.

We decide around 6 pm every day if the conditions are favorable to operate the tour.

The Northern Lights tour is dependent on the weather and sky conditions. If the evening tour goes ahead and the Northern Lights are not seen, we will offer the trip again for free.

Second day:  10:00 AM

First, we drive along the coast of Eyjafjordur, one of the longest fjords in Iceland. We begin by stopping at Goðafoss waterfall, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland. 

On our way to Forest Lagoon we will stop in Eyjafjordur where you can see over the fjord to Akureyri and take a great photo. From here we will go and relax in geothermaly heated springs called the Forest Lagoon.

Departure day

We will take you back to the Akureyri Airport.
