Geysir Cottages

Offering views of the mountains, Geysir Cottages is situated at Geysir Haukadal in the South Iceland Region, 600 m from the famous Geysir hotspring area.

Every room has a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle. All rooms have a private bathroom.

All rooms are in walking distance from Geysir Centre that includes three restaurants and a coffee house. Geysir Glima serves local specialties for lunch. Supa has a vegan soups and dishes and Kantina fast food and snacks. There is also the design shop Geysir as well as an outdoor clothing store Hekla and a souvenior store. Our cottages are just two minutes from the thermal fields across the street.

The area is popular for the Geysir Hot Springs, horse riding, hiking and shopping.

Staff at Litli Geysir Hotel can help book tours around the area and activities such as snowmobile tours, horse rental, river jet/rafting and golf.

The Gullfoss Waterfall is a 10-minute drive from the hotel. Reykjavík city centre is a 1.5-hour drive awa
